As a sales, because it is a project in the first place it is the result of collaboration or engagement of people thus I would ask team to perform their maximum potential.   Meanwhile I would negotiate with the project owner/customer both in terms of cost and time.    This will help us to gather more information about the customer.   

Nurture your current cold leads or find new leads.
