The key skills required for working in the Investment Banking (IB) sector are:

1. Financial Modeling - IB  is all about building models and selecting the right model to invest in.

2. Presentation Skills - The end user of our models are our managers, clients and other stakeholders, So it is important to present our data clearly and precisely without using complex formulas.

3. Time Management - The life of an Investment Banker will be hectic, maybe even working for 16-18 hours. Time allocation is essentially required to manage our priorities and to ensure a work life balance.

The above listed skills are very important for the success and growth of an Investment Banker.
