What makes a teacher effective or successful?

To quantity the effectiveness and the success of a teacher in the field of teaching is practically the hardest thing to do because there are no clear parameters for this.Well,as teacher for more than a decade. I could say that being effective and successful in this discipline is that when we see our students learn even without the teacher.For me,that's the essence of being effective.

As simple as it is.

To reach this point , the teacher should have a child centered learning/teaching strategy, excellent communication skills and she should be able to attend to the needs of each and every student of her class. No student should be ignored.

Understanding the needs of leraners and imparting knowledge designed around these needs is fundamental for teaching. A teacher must also be compassionate and be realistic with the learning pace. Finally, it's important to work on lessons, both planning and researching play a vital role. To me, being an effective teacher means planning, delivering and monitoring. 

It is the behaviour of the teacher that makes him effective or successful. A well behavioured teacher's method of study will be effective.

His or her communication skills both verbally and non-verbally Which should be well polished and understood within a given context. Proper planning when lesson planning and good work organisation. Good rapport with students and understanding their strong and weak points then dealing with such professionally. Being a role model to the learners and coming to their level to help them move to what was otherwise perceived as complex to be simple. Never leave any learner feeling frustrated or affecting their self esteem. A smile means a thousand words. Understanding learners behaviour and the cause of such. Keeping your promise and staying legal and professional.

Which makes a teacher effective and succeful is seeing students doing well in exams and get high scores after you have taught them something.

Because Teacher is a respectable profession in all the world. in-spite of these, A teacher make a good personality of the students, awareness of knowledge, professional activities which help them in future. And a good teacher makes good Business man, Doctors, National Leader, etc.
