We are always told family first; do we really consider family first or our job is overcoming everything else? why do we put work before family?

it's undebatable that family comes first; however, in my humble opinion it's all about time management to keep the balance between family, career and social life. 

first of all "family comes first" is a fact. i agree with this fact.

we work to earn money. but why we earn money, is to keep our faily happy by  giving them money to eat well and wear good.  

First of all is job, because if we dont have job how we sustained goods to our family. so for me is job. job before family.

If you consider to work before the family, thats correct since working provides the needs of the family so by doing that, the family survive. So work before family is the same as family before work. 

Human beings are totally dependent & so family is definately coming first but this is a normal routeen work.

Whenever organisation required urgent help that time keeping aside family issues priority will give to organization demand. In this situation both are benefited.

I had a habbit of working  24 x 7  so any time I will be present for Organisation.

We mainly work to maintain our family in a good financial position.

I believe, the family should always come first, but in the event of serious financial turmoils, in that case, work will come to come first before family because that can provide the family with stability.
