Z plasty, using nylon as subcuticular technique with the aid of steri strip and Dermabond

subcutaneous stiches using absorbable material and avoiding wound infection

to prevent scar stretching  ,one has to use a good  figure of eight closure of the sc tissues

after the sc is closed well, one  has a choice between accurate subcuticular absorbable sutures, tissue glue and steristrips

the scar will be more acceoptable cosmetically

it is an art to design the proper closure of subcuticular areas, using exact same mirror image closure designed by us years earlier
