Why do you work?

We work for :

1.       For livelihood - taking care of family

2.       Development and learning

3.       For appreciation and self satisfaction

4.       For satisfaction of our competency & skills

5.       For social recognition

6.       To have good friends

7.       For improvement in society

8.       For loyalty

9.    For country

This is also well explained by Maslow in 1950s

1 - to bring money

2 - to love work

3 - to achieve self

4 - for public benefit

5- To serve the country

6. Respect for self

We work simply to prove ourselves, to respect ourselves and to provide mutual benefit to us and to the community ... ... and we work to earn money for us and our families for a decent life .... and work worship

To be a significant person in the community

I think I should work for trying something new and meeting new people, making frinds and to help my family and trying to help my country

There are many reasons for people to work that vary from person to person. Reason could be any of the reasons mentioned in the postings pertaining to this question and thanks for the invite.

I work to make money so that I could splash it out on beauty to make life enjoyed. There is nothing precious in entire world except having a life enjoyable

a person is considered a cell of society. If an individual works on society, he develops his environment and work environment, and every work in the society is a complement to another work that flourishes in prosperity, leading to the welfare and progress of society.
