If the team leader does not work well under pressure, is he/she fit to be in that position?

I don't think so , cause the team leader must know how to work in any situation to encourage his team and to be idol for the rest of team members

Team Leader should be career oriented she/he should understand and meet the clients requirement. Always keep delivering best to the clients and than you will find good reward. Recruitment field requires lot of patience level beside that never stop working. Team leader should be active at work and always motivate their team members and ask them to be fast and smart at work.

A team leader has to be extremely details oriented and the momemt he/she analyzes data carefully he/she will be able to find some fitting solution and hence he/she will not come under pressure. But his/her not performing under pressure certainly lower the output.

A team leader needs to be extremely collaborative and approachable as this role involves people management in addition to projects . And whenever people are ivolved there will be many situations which cannot be predicted or will not have a standard formula to solve the issue.Therefore this position demands a person who is calm and not bogged down by pressure easily. A person who can listen well and is flexible in following direction from others and at the same time having the ability to lead or spearhead a deision is fit for this role.

Team Leader basically the word where all definations end.The person who Leads the team in do & die condition.

Leader Term define its charactaristics ,Leader must be Good Speaker,Good Motivational skills,Think beyound the expections,Fight with uncertain events.Handle the presure with team work.

according to my accesment ,you should change your HR Department  & Team Leader.

 whenever you have people reporting to you, it is mandatory you should have tolerance to pressure. 

i think if the team leader is not able to handle pressure, he/she is not fight to be in that position.

but if he has been appointed as team leader, chances are that he has sound domain knowledge, and the team can benefit from that.

hence he can be coached to be a better leader, and also experience brings that abillity in you.
