We can adopt a product approach and a process approach. In a product approach students are encouraged to mimic a model text, which is usually presented and analysed at an early stage.

Whereas process approaches to writing tend to focus more on the varied classroom activities which promote the development of language use: brainstorming, group discussion, re-writing. Such an approach can have any number of stages, though a typical sequence of activities.

Sub-divide letters of the alphabet into groups,i.e. those which cover half the space between lines e.g. a,e,i ,o ,u,  z.........these are the largest group. The second are those with stems that go below the bottom line but they sit on the line e.g. y,g,q,p........The last group are those with stems upto the upper or top line  e.g. t,b,d,h,l,.From there now practise and drill comes handy.
