If any team member is taking bribes we need to report to the higher management for taking necessary action.  Unethical behavior is not acceptable in any Organization.

Will make sure I understand what that person is going through and why they need the money. Will offer money (as mush as i can spare at that moment), than will encourage the person to share with other compassionate colleagues and friends who might be able to help.

Will not leave that person till i make sure they are taking a healthy root to solve their problems.

Discuss the case (without mentioning the person's name) with company leadership to enlighten them on the life/social challenges  their people are facing

A wrong is wrong !! No matter how much you try to justify it. It is totally unexpected and should not be encouraged or tolerated in any way.

I would speak to the concerned person and notify the immediate line manager only and not the whole team. This should serve as a detterence/ warning for future actions.

Thanks.

According to my understanding of the law a bribe is a criminal offence. According to all the corporate policies of all the companies i have worked for it is a summary dismissal. It is not for me to decide the outcome of the law but to uphold my responsibility of honesty and integrity. If i know there is corruption of the system it is my responsiblity to report it.

It is unethical.  I would report them to appropriate authorities.

i think, his senior should warn him strictly .
