If I want to buy a sedan, do you think I should go for a Toyota Camry or Hyundai Sonata? And why?

Sonata is one of the lightest midsize sedans on the market currently, which gives way to an impressive mpg city and mpg highway, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.

Both cars are very sucessfull in their category and differences are as follows:

1- Toyota will provide better performance (Engine, transmission and suspension)

2- Sonata will be better with respect to design and features

3- Longevity and residuals will in favour of Toyota

4- The Sonata will be cheaper to buy and own

Conclusion: If you're a car enthuthiast definitly go for the Camry, otherwise save those bucks and drive a Sonata

 

 

Hundai Sonata is best because of legroom space, higher head face, wider width, more torque and higher horse power.

I believe you have to test drive both of the cars and then decide. In term of the maintenance i believe that Hyundai is cheaper then Toyota, but in term of reliability and resale value, go for Toyota Camry.

The Toyota is more relaiable and less maintanance cost and less service required, as well for very good resale value.

Middle East options of Camry are worst than options of the Sonata, while Al Futtaim Service experience much better than Juma Al Majid Service. Your Camry will most likely not require warranty repair of general elements within 150000 Kms, deslike Sonata, which will creak starting just from 70000+ Kms. Camry will cost you extra 20000 Dirhams than Sonata and you will not still get those rich multimedia which Sonata gives you. Spare parts wont come problem with both models.

Hyundai and Toyota are both sheap brands ,they are somehow reliable, if you want to go through one of those , hyundai has a better design, very futuristic and more attracting than the camry , if you do leve in GCC region you will be assimiliated to a taxi or limousine service in your toyota more than in sonata sarcastic but true.

Interior design is very similar but the materials used but hyundai are better than toyota the multimedia of hyundai (apple car play etc..) are not available in toyota camry instead there is a poor quality system probably chinese aftermarket one ...

If you need to buy one of these 2, you need to establish a TCO (total cost of ownership) on a 5 years period with in mind the availability of spare parts for both brands , the waiting time to get you car fully serviced and the services related to aftersales aimed to raise your satisfaction as a customer (proximity of the service centers etc)

 

Both are good

but if you want to hard work ,, travel long distance ,, resale ,, safe     Camry win 

if you want more option ,, more technology ,, modern shape  ,, cheapest    sonata win
