The relationship between oil and salt water is the depths in which oil exists in the ground. Saline water is present in remote areas of the coasts of the seas and the oceans at very deep depths equivalent to the depths in which oil is located, which is called the water accompanying the oil.

where ever you see salt water it must found oil, because the saltwater have a marine life in different species and accumulation of theese organic material under deep depth of layer for million of years .will produce oil

Discovering oil is done by using Offshore drilling which is a mechanical process where a well-bore is drilled below the seabed. It is typically carried out in order to explore for and subsequently extract petroleum which lies in rock formations beneath the seabed. Most commonly, the term is used to describe drilling activities on the continental shelf, though the term can also be applied to drilling in lakes, inshore waters and inland seas.
