  • Feeling tired, drained, and lacking energy
  • General body aches or mild muscle soreness
  • A decrease in performance
  • Inability to complete workouts
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia
  • Lack of motivation

As a former professional bodybuilding instructor at World Gym. This question is very common. It deals a lot with self-reflection on what your lifestyle is. Eating foods that generate higher volumes of energy are much better for you. Such eating a box of raisins...yes, sounds stupid right? try eating a box and see how much your energy level increases after eating one. Taking supplements helps only so far. But, as I said, your lifestyle is the answer to solving this. Exercise is well known for lowering stress levels and promotes better sleeping regimen and a better mental outlook. Problems solve themselves better with a good nights sleep and not drugs from the doctor. Diet, is the key to tackling this problem. Stay off foods that weigh you down and make you sleepy. This is caused by an overload on your digestive system. As you age, the diet must change and become more realistic than greed eating. Fresh Juices, fruit, nuts, and yogurt are essential for better health and energy. At the end of the day, the evaluation of yourself is up to you and not the pharmacist...

You are clumsier than normal, unable to grasp onto items, and you drop them easily.

You lack the strength to complete exercises or cardiovascular activities that you can normally perform with ease.

You got six hours of sleep or less.

You are lightheaded, because you forgot to drink water or eat enough protein throughout the day.

Dragging feet when walking is a sign, eyes are droopy, lack of strength to complete exercises that you normally perform with ease, lack of sleep contributes to tiredness.

Lack of focus, lack of performance during the workout and general feeling of tiredness. However most of the regular people never reach the stage of overtraining (which is when you should skip workout that day). Usually if I client is feeling tired is better to adjust workout to it and do light active recovery work. Its way better then skipping workout all together.
