First I do not smoke, second; teachers are role models and should reflect the best.

If I am a smoker, I will definitely talk to my student and tell him the bad effects of smoking. He/She may say how come I can and he can't. I will just emphasize to him that I made a bad choice and that smoking has become an addiction that is difficult to avoid.

In the first place, students should never see their teachers smoking. We represent a social agent in their life, we are the example they follow, no teacher or educator or a member in an educational institution should smoke in front of students/children.

I don't smoke. If any teacher smokes, he or she should set good example for the students.

I don’t smoke but if by chance one of my students saw me smoking and mimicked what I’m doing I will talked to him personally and advised him to stop smoking. As an educator it is a must for me to set as a good example or a role model to my students.

To start off with, I am not a smoker. I believe that students look to teachers as role models. If we are role models it would be our job to make sure we hold our self to high standards and do not influence our students to act negatively.

I would definatly try my very best to encourage them to stop smoking.  A teacher's role is much more than academinc duties within the classroom.  A teacher shapes future generations to come.

First I do not smoke, second; teachers are role models and should reflect the best. I did rather lead by example, and never portray any kind of inacceptable manners that students can hold to learn from me

I do not smoke, however teachers are always supposed to be role models to learners by being good example, it is therefore not unvisable to any act that can harm your relationship with your learner openly.
