The motivational strategy which is applied in my view is D.Linking pay and performance although its obvious that team members are latitude to work for the overall benefit of the team members and organization.
None of the above. The motivational stretegy used is actually 'RECOGNITION' which needs to be used with a clear indication that the pay of all engaged in R&D shall be protected irrespective of the success/failure. In R&D it will be sucidal if pay and performance is linked. As in R&D even after years of total dedication and efforts, one may fail to breakthrough, and if his pay is linked with performance, he may not survive in the R&D section.
