Discuss it - make comments about other people's behaviours that could potentially develop their EI. i.e 'She's probably taking a couple of minutes to think about it before doing anything, making sure she does the right thing'.

Develop a higher patience threshold - usually, an individual can learn to develop EI by spending time with someone who has a higher EI. Show high EI to others through example.

Avoiding it should be done as a short time solution. I would not recommend this for the long term as it can create oppression and fear of speaking someone's mind.

Tackle it - if it comes to it, then speaking to the individual about it could be beneficial to both parties.
