Yes, i agree, how to develop listening skill, as a manager i have to train them by a skilled trainer to do so

its said you should read much before writing. similarly you should be a good listener if you wanna be a great speaker. yes some people are like that and soon they loose the value of their opinion in organization. Patience and eagerness to get knowledge are the ways to develop listening skills.

Yes I agree. However what is the context of the listening, are you  referring to those employees who speak a lot  and never listen to somebody's  suggestions and ideas? Well, this kind of  employees is  selfish, close minded, narcissistic personality. Session of counselling is best to develop his listening skills. He should know his personality and behavior so that he can able to adjust and manage his own self  in mingling people around him.

When you speak, you have something to convey/to share/to impart. But when you listen, you have something new to learn. Respect begets respect. Should you want people to listen when you talk, you should learn how to be a good one.

A proverb says "a good listener is better than a good speaker". However, in your case, you have to be a good speaker to make people listen to you. Or at least you have to have a sound knowledge of your subject. Probably that's the only way
