Self-improvement and education, which is the most important from your prospective ?

There are no clear boundaries between the two concepts of culture and self-development and I think both of them lead to the other, but if it was intended Education is culture alone is insufficient without self-development and the acquisition of skills, excellence and deepen specialization

First education and then self development.

When you educate yourself you help in improving it so to me both are related and should be done together 

Self-improvement is more important as education can only take you up to a certain point, then it is up to self-improvement to take you the rest of the way. Education just gives you a head start in the race towards self-improvement

Education provides knowledge, skills and awareness but at the end of the day it can take you only so far. Continous improvement of self will help you get out of rigid, inflexible ways, outdated ways of thinking and working, and open you up to newer possibilities in life. A person who seeks to improve the self will be able to take the education he has imbibed and take it into the realm of action and make something tangible out of it.

Of course your education lead you to your self improvement thus you will get the both.

When you go for a course you get a degree to show in your bio data and also gain some knowledge. Self –improvement to me means learning from mistakes and gaining experience. Both are needed to impress the interviewer  when you try for the next level in your own company or in a different company.

Education first. The actualization (self development) happens next

I would say education. Education is the shortest way to learn something. Self development is also good but it surely require more time and the outcome maybe questionable. I would prefer self development in minor subjects .

Education improves, refines and widens the spectrum of thought process and self improvement drives it to further improve and leads to achieve success.
