First intuition is usually the best one? don't you use the first one, converted in action, to sort out project management issues?

First impression is always based on a judgement of accumulated experiences. For this reason, First Impression Rule only works if one is applying it within one's domain of expertise. But, if applied out of the  domain/context (of expertise), its as good as a random guess - perilous.
