What standards are adopted by Management - Administration to select a team leader from its big team?

A manager to be must have started the run after the finish line from the beginning, Must not start the stairs from its last stair to reach the roof "goal"

The construction and management of the team leadership skills needed Kaltfawd and motivating others, conflict resolution and the distribution of resources and to maintain the goals of the group and morale, and also requires construction like cash, communication skills and responsibility 

Major Selection criteria of a Team Leader:

1. Past experience in the similar leadership role
2. Communication skill
3. Network in the Industry/ civil society
4. Achievement/ performance during the last ten years
5. Educational attainment
6. Presentable personality

 

Be open minded Look for someone who is respected Ensure the person has modesty Someone who enjoys seeing others grow Ensure they can formulate their own ideas and propose them

Mid-senior management and executive jobs usually are not offered through tests, they usually comes from an informal interview with another executive who is able to recommend employees based on experience and previous success on similar environment.

I fully agree with Mr. Fazlur Rahman's excellent submission; however other competencies may include- proven leadership abilities & skills in previous role, commitment & deligence, outgoing personality, high level of ethics & integrity

Adaptability and Acceptability 

These two are not thought in any school and inculcated by expertise gained.

The first is to maintain the team intact to start with and

the second is to strengthen and expand the team

 

There must an aptitude test, an interview and a task related to team management test conducted before choosing a team leader inorder to screen the best person/leader.

It all depending upon the role however, all leader must have complete job knowledge, excellent skills to handle day to day matters, on hand experience. In addition to passions, soft spoken, team builder, and motivator.
