Safety Management systems can change the employees lives when it is, by time, incorporated within the DNA of the company. Safety Management system is not only applicable at work, but also at home and everywhere.

The successful safety management system is fruitful, only when it is completely believed in, and after it is fully implemented in all aspects of peoples lives.

Firstly, with Safety Management System (SMS) incorporated in the organization, the employees are encouraged to report potential hazards witnessed in the workplace. The hazard reporting culture are thoroughly endorsed and communicated throughout the organization by the Senior Management. To maintain a positive Safety Culture in the organization, hazard reporting generated from errors, mistakes and even some types of violations (conditions applied) are also tolerated and appreciated when the employee reports his/her own mishaps before the turn into incidents and accidents. Some organizations even reward the employees who identified hazard and reported to the management with incentives and appreciations. 

Secondly, communication is the key. With no barrier gaps between the top management and the front-line personnel employees will be fearless in reporting the mistakes proactively without the fear of termination. Employees will be trained on their deficiencies and will actively participate in proactively identifying hazards without the fear of authority.
