My question refers to Interior design freshman who struggle in organizing and schedule planning of the project they have in front of them.
Lack of budgeting strategies and customers orientation is where one will loose the contract very easily.
Execution plans: how to execute the project from scratch.
There will be a design drawings issued by the client . Start identify the items and quanititiy the items. Prepare a Bill of Quantities ( BOQ ) . Ask the client whether any thing more to be added or deleted. Once u had finilized the BOQ , Estimate the each item and Prepare a quotation
write the name of the business,address and contact number.if you have company logo you can include.
Add the label "quote".
Write the name ,address and contact of your client.
Indicate time frame of the project.
Write a process list of materials,labor cost,services.
To determine profit for the quotation ,calculate based on the percentage of the total project cost.
Outline steps for the particular project and include cost of each-helps in transparency.
Write total cost of your design quotation.
Indicate how long the quotation is valid since price constantly change.
Lastly sign your design quotation.
