A "kid" should never have a smartphone. An adolescent, on the other hand, should show signs of responsibility and should be able to handle such a device and use it appropriately under parental guidance. As we all know, the3G service and wi-fi connectivity make a smartphone functional with all those applications on, but what worried me the most when I first used a smartphone in2012 is the easy access to websites with adult content without any restrictions or blockages. It was frightening to see all those kids with smartphones and3G activated, especially at schools, the reprecussions are catastrophic !
