For you to be able to create a Risk Assessment you must know first the job steps in the operation of an NDT shop. RA is a document listing the job steps, the hazards associated on each job steps, the corrective measures on every hazard identified in the job steps and the assessment. Hazards have residual danger and that residual danger have to be dealt with another corrective action to be able to control it. RA is the upgrade of Job Hazard Analysis or JSA, the difference is that there are added sections assessing the risk of each hazard in the job step. For me to be able to Risk Assess the NDT shop I need to see first the steps.
