What is the difference between discount allowed and discount received?

A discount allowed is when the seller of goods or services grants a payment discount to a buyer.

discount received is the reverse situation, where the buyer of goods or services is granted a discount by the seller.

The discount allowed which the company  give to the client and the discount received gain from the suppliers

Discount allowed for me is something that is acceptable if ur working internal from the same company that is holding any branches of the items u have taken. Discount receive is when u were qualified to any draws or anything that saying u will receive discount if u are able to get or buy something which is on deal .
