Thanks for inviting me to answer.  Here it goes.

From a safety point of view, organizations are typically enforcing the reverse parking for in the event of an evacuation vehicles parked in reverse will maneuver out of the parking space quickly. Because in an event of plant explosion seconds matter and this is true.

Now, shall we say I do not know that rule because I haven't worked in an organization enforcing the reverse parking. Reasonably, entering a slot with vehicles already on both sides of the slot will be difficult given that the area to maneuver is limited. The reverse parking is the better method because the pivot wheels maneuver the rear wheels creating tight curve. The car will need less space than facing wall parking.

Finally, reverse parking is a form of car body language suggesting how intelligent the driver in the vehicle is. I hope this gives you a better understanding.

1st thank you for inviting me to answer 2nd with respect to all the above marvelous answers but the main reason for psycho factor Because in the time of emergency panic attack all workplace employee and so no the primary instinct prevail So no polite waiting or safety flash light or the vehicle and the ACC probability hikes up In short we are enforcing this parking pattern to reduce possible chaos expected to happen

1) Reverse parking is mandatory requirement in many organizations especially in construction industries, where safety is first priority. According to many emergency exercise and drills results, emergency evacuation done much more faster if vehicles parked reverse. Also it does not create hassle in the parking during emergency.

2) From other point of view, according to various reports, most of parking related accidents happened due to  "backover crashes" when driver hit another car while backing out from his parking space.

Reverse parking takes little bit more time to park in, but less time to move out of the parking. In HSE we call reverse parking a "tactical parking".

  • One main reason is Off-Course, that it makes it easier to move out in case of emergency.
  • Even while getting out of Parking in normal situation, it gives you a broader view of the road, reducing the chance of possible accidents.
  • In normal circumstances, in a Parking plaza and or on a busy road, it is easy to put things in the Car Trunk or making persons sit in Passenger Seats areas, without undue disturbance to traffic in busy hour.
  • Vehicles are normally high on the rear side because of less weight, so it reduces the scrach chances on the under part of vehicle as oppose to Parking in front side. This unintentionaly pushes the drivers not to park utilizing the full parking space, eventually keeping some part of Vehicle out on the roads disturbing the traffic in down town areas and Parking Plazas.
