The automobile sector is being changed now. We can expect many fantastic advancements in the next few years. In this, the most anticipating thing is the start of autonomous self driving cars. Many car manufactures are making research and progress in it. Companies like Tesla providing a feature called autopilot in which the driver involvement is reduced highly. Experts are saying that self driving cars can avoid human errors which is the cause of most of the accidents.
Yet we can't say the autonomous cars replace car market completely. There are many people like driving. Driving is a some what like passion. We know there are many people driving cars with manual transmission even the automatic transmissions are well advanced. Also the cost of the autonomous system and its accessories may increase the total cost of the car at least in the beginning of autonomous era.
So we can conclude that Autonomous cars are the future but they can't replace the whole automobile sector.
