Analog signals are two dimensional continous signals which vary with respect to time,space or the function, represented mostly as x(t)

Eg: x(t)= sin 2.5t

Digital signals are those which are discrete in both axis, and are mostly defined in either of two states as 1/0, on/off, high/low; represented mostly as x(n) and described in binary as

x(n)={001,110,111,000,111,010}
