after placing the purchase order - vendor submit several documents to the Engineering company for review and approval - one of these documents is the ITP ( Inspection Test Plan ) which summarize all the quality procedures shall be applied on the intended items, of course for instance valves different than strainers or Pig launcher ,... eg . any way this document shall be reviewed by the Piping material engineer and the inspector to verify if all the examination and tests included or still there is missing requirements with reference to the purchase requisition - also indicate the action of all the parts ( Vendor - Engineering Company - Client) for each procedure like review or witness,...eg - after approve the ITP, it shall be used during the final good inspection (usually in the vendor facilities area) as reference.
