Procurement:Leading the procurement team to efficiently carryout their duties & responsibilities in sourcing, ordering/purchasing, ensuring the best prices as per the specifications, delivery timelines and payments terms.Overseeing the preparing of request for quotations, purchase orders, documents, schedule of procurement & payments.Prepare comparative price & specification sheets for the quotations received from different suppliers for the major items and present to the management along with recommendations for their review and finalization of the best source.Developing alternative suppliers/vendors.Setting criteria for selecting the different suppliers and vendors.Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.Prepare approved suppliers list.Site Logistics:Supervise site mobilization activities.Coordinate with site engineers on equipment, materials and machinery delivery at site on a timely manner.Removal of surplus material from sites.Clearing all company belongings from the sites after completion.Transportation:Handle all company vehicles including heavy duty, light duty, buses, building equipment and machinery.Supervise the PMV operations.Handle rental equipment, scaffolding material and machinery.Inventory Control:Materials and asset inventory control.Supervise the yard operations; storage, receiving and issuance of materials to different sites.Supervise the storekeepers and stores operations at all sites.Controls the consumption and supplies of water, diesel and all consumables at sites.

Procurement department has a very important role, namely chooses competitive prices, makes schedule of orders and goods that are in great demand among buyers, as well as purchases the novelties of goods that compete very well with the old. This in turn attracts a lot of new customers and increased sales of goods.

  • Analyze and compare financial reports and pricing proposals from several trusted suppliers before negotiating terms and prices to obtain the best deal for the company.
  • Training staff members to be knowledgeable about product quality requirements, how to determine when products are unacceptable, and what actions to take when quality standards are not met.
  • Monitoring contracts to ensure that the supplier meets expectations and invoices are approved and paid in a timely manner.
  • Making any required adjustments or changes to existing contracts.
  • Keep track of all goods and services ordered and received, and maintain accurate inventory records including details on price, performance, and delivery.
  • Ensure responsible procurement practices meet company objectives and compliance requirements.
