My answer would be a definite yes. Since the late 70's we have been generating and accumulating data constantly and in the last 5 to 10 years there has been an exponential growth (thanks to internet and mobile) which is now running into millions of peta or zeta bytes. So everyone now wants to use the data to make informed decisions and predictions and that's where the role of Analytics comes into picture. With lot of push by open source community , Big Data and Analytics tools are within the reach of SME's and Individuals which is contributing to the growth of the same.
