'Litera Scripta' mean literal meaning of the text.

This is the very basic rule of Interpretation of Statutes. which is called literal interpretation of any statutue when its application. Basic rule is to apply the law as it is without making any changes to it unless until there is an ambiguity, unclear or uncertain meanings arises out of the statements/provisions or very defeating the objective of the statute. Thanks.
