It depends, 1. If the goals of leader are aligned to organization then you must follow your leader because one is brining you on right track towards working to achieve a common goal. 2. But if one has the goals opposite or contradictory with organizational goals, you should followbthe organization because one may de-track you from the right path and you will not be able to get succeed. 3. Strategies are another side of the case, if goals are alligned, you should follow the one having better and effective strategic option.

It is the Leader leads the team in pursuance of the goals to meet set according to the organizational success. Therefore it is through the leader we meet or achieve the organizational goals. So it is the following of Leader behind the Organization. If Leader is not proceeding in right path than it is against the insterest of Organization wherein we suppose to be and it is detrimental to the organization and the teams as well.  My 2 cents. Thanks.

Thanks Mr Omar for invitation  :

It must follow the leader because it is the organization that submitted it on teams but if his orders are contradictory the purpose of the organization; teams must claim its management organization wrong

Any leader in an organization should stand for set goals and mission of the organization. And with this teams should follow their leader in order to reach that set goals as a team !

when you stand up for people, you show that you're  "on thier side" when they need help. This build long-term commitment, and morale in your term, and it gives your people a confidence boost. It also shows that you are focused on your team's well being a and interests, rather than on your self. This helps to create a positive working environment and shows everyone that you're a leader worth following.

All this depends on if the Leader is doing things by the book. if there is a reason for someone to question or feel that the code of eithics is being broken with the action to be taken, then the team is not obligated to follow the leadership but report it to the HR. Otherwise it is expected that all is under the SOP of the company and thus duly followed.

Agreed.

If the team doesn't want to follow the leader, let the team lead the leader towards to organisational set objectives.

i think if the leadership is good than it will automatically be good for the organization. following the leadership means chasing common targets. which means all the members are focusing on one goal. and within the organizations win for the team means win for the organization. so my answer leadership
