All of a above options is the responsibilities of a marketing manager except option5- Customer and buyer behaviour which is the responsibility of a market researcher.

Justification

The question aims at great extent to differentiate between the responsibilities of a marketing manager and marketing researcher . nevertheless "Marketing research does not make decisions and it does not guarantee success". Marketing managers may seek advice from marketing research specialists about consumer and buyer behaviour, and indeed it is important that research reports should specify alternative courses of action and the probability of success, where possible, of these alternatives. However, it is marketing managers who make the final marketing decision about pricing strategies, product segmentation, positioning place , promotion …etc and not the researcher. The second observation, that marketing research does not guarantee success, is simply a recognition of the environment within which marketing takes place on the other hand a marketing strategy developed by a marketer can guarantee success by selecting the optimal tactics.

I say all above are responsibilities for a marketing manager with point5 as well which is customer and buyer behavior , because if it's responsibilities of a marketing researcher but it's also responsibilities of marketing manager too, as the manager (he/she) manages the process ,decisions and planning .

Thanks
