Sometimes HR has a negative imago in the company even they work hard ... why is this? and what should be your recommendation(s)?

because some management not motivation any department only Sales without care with other department

with also HR in more co. can take full decision and some times management refused his recommendation

Thank you for inviting me the beginning of the answer to this question is very important for me very, very, where I suffered a lot to clarify the point of view posed the question in many places that worked out and the cause of my resignation from many jobs.

In one study conducted by Western institutions on the subject of respect in the work results showed that most employees do not have much respect by management for them, will reflect negatively "on their performance and productivity. The course of these human resources staff and the company that conducted the study is the (Sirota Survey) Intelligence has conducted the referendum on the approximately 370 thousand employees, of all those employees showed only 21% satisfaction with respect administration them, as the study showed that people who lost their respected "the largest were also "it is the most loyal" to their companies.

Of course, through practical experience in various companies and institutions Arabian our homeland is lacking, such as those statistics that can help manager to take decisions to improve the employee's work environment situation, but I'm quite sure "that the statistics had been working on the Arabs our staff reflected the lack of complete satisfaction and perhaps the wrath of the most managers.

To change this picture from my point of view we must as employees of human resources following action: 

- Increase mutual respect  between us as employees in human resources management so that the company management feels that we are one strong and effective entity and also respectable.

- It must have for the management of human resources manager with a strong character and has the ability to improve the image of human resources management at the company's management and owners and also make employees feel fully satisfied and the respect of others while working.

- To have a human resource management of their own working system and management of the company are aware of it even walk him and commit all its other departments, and here is human resources management the form and content management be marginalized as seen in many companies in the Arab world and sadly.

- And also must explain the importance of the role of human resources in the companies for the management and owners of the company are constantly so as not to lose sight of the important role.

Company to company the rules are different and some persons from the management might causes problems to HR sometimes, and any personal problems among members of either department would cause problems. IF any company professionally follow the rules of approved HR rules or management strategies then there would not be any problems.

This is an interesting question / observaton...

Although I must agree to this Observation, the HR is more and more viewed negatively because of their dehuminizing character as how they behave and assumed.

In observation, the HR are well oriented to fit in a BOX from whch they find it difficult to move forward and function out of a BOX.

To be more effective HR, in todays setting, we need to de-orient them... to change and evolve as the times has changed and evolved as well.

Old school thinking of HR pertaining to the methodology and well rehashed style, processes, and procedures, should be modified, ennovated and upgraded to keep-up

with the new age and diversity of the workforce and employees of the modern corporate world.

Long and Tiring process of hiring should be modified.

The slow screening process should be simplied,

emphasize objectivity and lower subjectivity due to (race, color, afinity, religion etc) 

Simplify requirements and remove unnecessary criterias that has no bearing or

no relevance to the capacity or capability of an applicant/s or job function needed.

These causes delays and more expense for the company.

HR of today should re-think their people skills... to make them more approachable and effective in providing personnel assistance and prevent any issues to blow up.

A more proactive HR is also needed in todays corporate setting.  timely visit to every department should be practised to create interaction with the staffs and personnels.

Spend time with the employees to just socialize with them and show concern about their condition at work or their general well being as a collegue.

Dont act like a God or Goddess of the office. Dont be a pre-madonna, Be strong but calm, exercise authority but dont Bully, Lead but dont enslave,  Emphatize but be fair and balance.

HR should also be creative in keeping their employees more balanced at work by creating a work invoronment that is more fun, inspiring and motivating. Balance matters between management and employees's welfare.

Lastly, HR are supposedly human, so act like one, speak like one, behave like one... afterall we are all created equal in God eyes.

The question is very generic to answer.  Two types of work deliverable that are hard work and smart work.  Most of the time smart work is required rather than hard wok. Following are reasons for negative image;

1.Negative image is mainly due to HR sometimes fail to work collaborative, acts independently.

2. Failure to create understanding about business pain among organizational leaders

3. One failure frustrate us to drop the HR Plan instead to rearrange and implement to bring success

4. Failure to demonstrate HR is friendly to approach

5. Ensure HR activities are always  aligned with organizational strategies

6. Provide continuous feedback to the management about the progress of HR Projects by demonstrating success rate.

If the management is unhappy about the HR means, the results are not up to acceptable level or the HR initiative is unmatched with the organizational requirement.
