As a pre-school teacher, what are the best books for kindergarten I can use to grab the attention of my students?

Comic books and colorful, storyboards and colorful, plates letters and numbers, and can be used for educational games.

I wish I could know the best books for kids, but unfortunately I don't, since all my teaching experience is at universities. I will be happy to get to know some good books for children. Thank you for posting this question.

sorry, I don't have knowledge about the same

what a coincidence and i was teaching just a kindergarten student, but its not my specialty. What i found hard was to attain the attention of the kid on the topic that i want to teach instead he was doing what he wants to like, so i changed my strategy and brought knowledge through his interest. He was playing with colors and i started asking colors name than i took them and asked him to put it in his pencil box through counting but still he is not answering what i want him to answer that is "What is your name" :). Anyways i hope you'll find your books just shared my experience.
