you need to make sure your presentation is short , focused on major information , and the conclusion at the end is super important.

you need to be sure the presentation is convincing to your audience , not only to your self.

The board of directors includes the elites of the management of any organization. Usually the board meetings are every3 or4 months so they are will planed and you might be required to submit your presentation ahead of actual meeting time. These are steps I usually follow when asked to make presentation in front of board of directors;

1.     Know the reason why I was called to the meeting ---> this will give me the objective of my presentation.

2.     Know who are the attendees and what is the role of each member ---> To address the need of each one and anticipate question they might have.

3.     Know the time allocated for me.

4.     Should I be in the meeting room from the starting of the meeting or the secretary will call me when my time comes.

5.     Is there any template I need to follow or I can make my own presentation template. If I have to make my own template then there is a full set of Do and Do not when make presentation template that this space is not enough to list them. But the rule of thumb is don't discredit your presentation contents by lousy presentation.

6. Prepare answers for possible questions that they might ask you and take supporting data with you just in case.

I hope that was helpful
