Your strategy should depend on your purpose of being on Twitter in the first place, for example, if you're on twitter as a marketer, your tweets should be directed towards the audience that looks for marketing subjects, share articles, retweet and follow people related to that subject. However, if you're on twitter as a brand ambassador, you should promote the brand, tweet and retweet things to market that brand more.
