being a listener to my view is better to being a speaker because it is more easier to add to one's knowledge by listening.

listener is not only an listener he an thing about and all

it is better to be a passive listener because yuo will be able to know each and every detail so you will asses the real situation and give the right and appropriate feedback or suggestions, by that means, people will be interested on what you are saying, because they will feel that you understand what their feelings or sentiments.

Well, it is better to be an active listener and a passive speaker than otherwise.  I believe, a passive listener mostly cannot be a sensibly active speaker.

I believe that the secret is in a balance between both, and knowing when to speak and when to listen.

actually it's better to be an active listener and to speak a little bit to make them know that you are listening
