Accident is not an ITIL term as per IT service mgmt standard.

 

Incident is an unplanned disruption in IT service.

Incident and accident is the same to define the unplanned events that causing undesirable  loss. Incident term mostly related to failure of the human, equipment, or system while accident term mostly related to the nature causes.
