To accentuate its importance:- If it is signed by the top authority then it highlights its importance .Often it is found that the persons associated with the production dont want to waste their time and efforts to unproductive activity like safety and quality. In case of the policy is signed by the top then they fell bound to it and follow it.
03:- To ensure implementation of the local legislation:- Every organization has to follow the legislation of the country and other local authority that is why the organization needs the commitmet of the top authority to ensure implementation effectively.
