Hello Ahmed,

I used to participate in SAP and Oracle ERP presales, and we get this question a lot from the prospect customers, the best answer is: if you are willing to change your local processes to align with globally known business practices then go for SAP, SAP will make you follow the Best Practice in your industry. while if you want and ERP that adjusts to your business processes then go for Oracle, it's more flexible and customizable.

So the main difference is: You adjust to SAP while Oracle adjusts to you

Hope that helps.

Without going to a long technical list:

Oracle is more flexible than SAP.SAP has always the best business process.

Both Oracle & SAP have various products but I am assuming you are asking about their ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) products. It is very challenging to list all the differences between SAP & Oracle without going through a long list of technical review, however generally SAP is a much superior and common software. In fact SAP's market share is bigger than its next3 competitors combined together.

Oracle helps work to be done smoothly and integrations without any hazzels , due to the availability of lot of Open interfaces and API's.More user friendly and easily customizable as per business needs. SAP lacks all of the above.

I supported the answer by Abdullah Galal. Both products have its own advantages and disadvantages. Both products are the most common  ERP used by the companies out there, but SAP is widely used by huge company because it follows the Industry best practices. If the company have their own defined business process and can't follow the Common SAP industry solution, they would prefer to use Oracle due to it's flexibility.
