How To Handle Disrespectful Students?

In every class you will find a leader of the students. He is the one you are likely  to focus on.

Make it clear that the pen is mightier than the sword and counsel the student now and then.

Give him or her some responsibility in the class. This makes the student feel that he or she is a part of something .

Never lose your temper because that's the disrespectful student's objective.

disrespectful students may handled first by knowing first their backgrounds, after then counseling going to motivation. 

my way is handle to any student is polite way.

Such students like to be very active in Activities.  So activities are a good option to make all students to pay attention in class.

I engage them in class work . I give them room to ask questions and expess their concerns. Sometimes they just want to get some attention either ftrom techer or classmates so I help them feel that they are important and smart.

This is an important question and I'm sure every teacher has faced this. Background of a students is very effective on his/ her behavior. Sometimes students are very much pampered or neglected by their family on cause a terrible changes in their behavior. This kind of students need time and counseling. Teacher have to give time and make a good understanding with him/her.

Going and knowing them seriously their family background and problems they are facing. Then making them to analyse their own skillset and making them to take a lead role which enables them to be on track,which will enable them to be respectful by themself.

Disrespectful behaviuor is a symptom of some stimulus which may be a particular condition in the home, a medical condition or some other.  An investgation must be conducted to find the root cause of the disrespectful behaviour.A guidance consellor or a teacher who can provide conselling  together with intervention sessions to include parent or guardian, teacher, administrator should be arranged. There must be follow up sessisins and close monitoring of the student by teachers, safety officers, peers and presfects. 

The school must have a system in place  for teachers to have a forum to discuss student behaviour and outline possible strategies.

It is necessary to understand the student’s psyche and the environment from which he came to know the reason that forced him to treat others with disrespect, and the motivation behind this ..

Certainly, when I cooperate with him with all kindness, he will do the same, if he does not, I will treat him with kindness also several times, but the third time I will act with all firmness and formalism and here he will feel his mistake and his guilt ..

 

We deal with people daily and there are those who treat you with disrespect, not just the student, but I am the one who makes others respect me with my respect for them and the beautiful smile (for every action is a reaction)

As a teacher I will try to observe the student's behaviour and analyse it with the situation he/she is in. This attitude is expressed by the students based on subjects/classmates/class-teacher/home environment. I will try to communicate with the student and find out the cause politely. I will make sure the student is not left out among the fellow classmates at any situation and win his/her trust on me. Thus, I will try to instill the right behaviour.
