Be open, fair and consistent.

Explain to your team what you want from them.  Tell them what you are trying to achieve, and why it is important.  Point out what might happen if things go well, and what might happen if things go badly.  Have high expectations, and make sure you give your team the tools and help they need to fulfill them.

Whether or not they love what they are doing is a private matter for them, and is none of your business.  Instead, aim for "enjoy it as much as possible".

Be remember that there is a big difference in a Leader and in a Boss...Leader always support the team by adopting the strategy of "How To Get The Work"...But in other hand A Boss always required "How To Do The Work"...Boss says "I" but Leader says "We"....Boss uses people or employers but Leader develops the people or employers...So always lead your team as a leader not as a boss to get a good and highest performance of work.

A team is as strong as its weakest link because if the weakest link breaks, the whole team breaks. To improve the performance of the team together it is essential to identify the possible "weak links". As a leader, one must ensure that that is dealt with first and make sure everybody is brought up to speed. Thereafter, everybody performs their best and the whole team grows as one and conquers the toughest of tasks. When that kind of chemistry is present in the team, automatically everybody starts enjoying his or her work and loves what he or she is doing.
