and with regards to manufacturing industry, they manufacture or produce something that is being demanded by customer.
but in the point of profession ya they are most dominating...

Manufacturing industry is a very wide term and I can't agree that this is the base for everything!

With every business activity we carry out we are seeking to add value.  This value is essentially our profit.

Attaining this added value can be done in all industries and walks of life and not just Manufacturing.

Manufacturing is the base of rest of industries,without mfg how you can proceed.
first you have to mfg from raw material then other processes can be implemented.
