Very basic differences between CRM and ERP is:

CRM is used maintain and log Customer's relationship with your organization /company

      -What kind of services, packages and bundles your customer is using ,

      - No of complaints he logged about the services,

      - Customer's payment history,

      - Since how long he is using your companies services.

      - How much you are earning from your customer.

ERP is used define any organization Business logic to control over financials transactions in following manners.

      - Cash In flows and Out Flows,

      - To start any new project and payments,

      - Vendor management,

      - Inventory Management,

      - Treasury & Disbursement.

So making it short CRM is totally your customer oriented system and ERP handles Business logic of your organization.
