In a public limited company, what is the value of a vote by shareholder when he has very slim knowledge about management and BOD ?

Indeed I agree with Mr. Mohammed Asim Nehal.

But there may be some shareholders holding large chunk of shares may do participate in voting and is very well had to consider.

Most of the shareholders are short term/ long term investors they only go by the market trend and rating and have no knowledge whatsoever about the company management. They seldom participate in voting and company's internal affairs.
