As a whole law is classified as International law and Municipal Law.
Municipal law is your state laws. within the state laws, it is again can be classified as public law and private law. whereas public law which deals with one of the party is state ex:criminal law, where state is prosecuting the accused for the offence committed by the accused.
private law is the law deals with the issues between individuals like property related, etc. example is civil laws of the nation are private laws.
