Before you attend an interview or reach the stage of offer negotiation. you may reassess your strengths for which employers are ready to pay you. At the same time websites like payscale.com provide you with information about each job role. you may enter some details of the job role and offer you are getting and you will get to know the market data. basis which you may ask for hike accordingly.

Depends on the the load of work , required skills and the added value to the compnay .. if you know you have a unique and essntial skills, then you can give your expected salary ( after doing homework in searching about salaries via internet )  but make sure not less than what you get now

My answer is Depends on what's my job description - what's my responsibilities - And my work load also - and if I should work for extra hours to finish my tasks - then if you know all of this you should ask about skeleton and the salary scale
