I have been participating in International Poetry Contests for20 years, so far.  The general consensus among English speaking poets is: Prose poetry (non-rhyming) reflects the current informality in the language in general.  Most experienced poets consider prose poetry to be lazy writing.  I write in the Terzanelle  poetry form because its structure is very good for story telling poems.
