When you´re working, as I do, in a specific and technical environment as the oil & gas market, you should never buy, or first of all, require any quotation prior to investigating the required good. Always use MTO´s or in the absence of them, technical data sheets and charts that define all the aspects of the object of purchase.

You can always have excpections to that if you work directly with your technical department.
